About Visual Institute

Visual Institute is a nonprofit organization being formed in Massachusetts to teach photography, videography, and editing to young people.

Our mission is to give youth hands-on training in visual storytelling — camera work, video production, and post-production editing — building creative and technical skills they can carry into school, work, and life.

Visual Institute is currently completing its formation as a Massachusetts nonprofit corporation and applying for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. We’ll share updates here as that process moves forward.
